Just wondering if anyone would know the width of the rear diff disc to disc (wheel mounting surface) of a 3.5L NK / NL? Building a camper trailer and going to get axle tomorrow, and wanted the camper to be the same track width as the paj. Was going to pull wheels off tonight and measure but ...

NL Shorty Makeover

Hi All,

My NL's paint work was getting a bit shabby, the clear had been degrading from UV, had a lot of stone chips and a few dings as well. So decided that it needed a full respray.

Photos are attached. Its a bit of a long post, but someone may like to have a look.

6G75 Long Motor

Hey All,

Anyone know where I might find a 6G75 (NP non mivec) long motor for a transplant into my NL Shortie? Between Sydney and Newcastle.

I have tried Central Coast 4x4 Wreckers and they don't have any. :(

Cheers

NL 3.5 SOHC Coils

Hi Everyone,

I have a 99 NL SWB 3.5 and I am in need of a set of coils. These seem to be prohibatively expensive from Mitsu. Was wondering if anyone has a set or knows where I could get a secondhand set from?

No I havent, I under stand their concept. And I have read am instruction sheet from exedy about having to "snap in" the bearing. I beleive you have to install the bearing on the clutch fork and then pull the release fork in the opposite direction to snap it in.

Are they a pain to install?

Just got a Bundera

Hey Guys,

Just got myself an 88 Bundera coil sprung. Looking to lift it 3inches. Should I be using Castor Plates or Castor Bushes?

I have heard that 80 Series Coils will lift it about 3 inches, is it ok to go with the 80 Series coils or just get new ones?

Cheers
