Re: turning up Boost on d40

There are 3 levels of tune just in the D40 range for the YD25 engine. Single cab 106kw, king & dual cab 126kw(was 128kw But lost 2kw in 2007 due to emission standards) & spain built ST-X 140kw. The transmission makes no difference to the level of tune its just the different models & where they are ...

Going by percentages through our dealership I reckon that ZD30 & TD42 engine rebuilds are about even under warranty. Considering that ZD30 patrols were about 85% of sales & the TD42 were less than 10%, it is obvious that 3LT patrols would look worse in the rebuild stakes. I have seen ZD30 patrols ...

We have fitted 15" rims to heaps of GU(Y61) Patrols right upto the current series VI without any dramas. It is only the cheaper rims that caused ony trouble , but rims like ROH TrakII give no problems

Yes they will fit (except some of the cheaperrims that seem to rub on the caliper braket). The brakes on GU(Y61) have not changed in this series of vehicles except for the TB48

Yes it is an earthing problem, But just cleaning the threads tends to make them corrode more reguarly. There is also an ECU reprogramme that should be done that will stop the problem from reoccurring again.

There was a fault with the earlier TB48 that caused the engine to go into limp home mode that required both of the O2 sensors to be replaced & the ecu reprogrammed. It was a fairly common fault but I cant remember off the top of my head the code that was logged as it has been a while since I have ...

The main thing is that they use more fuel. It doesnt loose too much power, altho I have a chip & 2.75 exhaust on mine to help it along. Also mine is an auto so it doesnt have the same sort of lag that the manuals tend to have. The only reason that I changed the diff gears was to stop the auto ...

It is part of your clutch hydraulics. It makes it easier to bleed whenn you replace your clutch master cylinder.

Is your GU a Ti?? In series 1 the Ti was the only model with factory remotes. There was an aftermarket kit fitted to the ST models that had a remote that looked very similar to the genuine remotes. Hi everyone. I am thinking about changing the diff ratio's in my wagon but am having a hard time deciding on what ratio. I currently have standard 4.3s fitted to my ZD30 auto with 35" tyres. It drives ok as it is but works harder on hills than I would like. Have any of you changed your diff ratios ...

9.1lt is a dry fill amount. meaning that that is the amount that you would put in a brand new engine that has never been filled with oil. Most engines will have between .5-1lt of oil still left inside them no matter how long you drain them for.

Do you have aftermarket driving lights & wiring fitted to your vehicle?? Does the problem only happen when your lights are on high beam & the driving lights are working? If so I would be checking the driving light wiring as this in the most common fault for this
