I have Ashcroft CVs in a daily driver
covered 12k miles then they were removed as a part of a seal fix and the were untouched and like the day they were fitted.
I have M/D shafts/in a 97 axle with the bronze bushes.
I had AEU2522s(cheapo) and they bust far to easily even on small tyres

as an aside I'd wager it is actually leaking from the intermediate gear shaft
there are 2 o rings that i've in and allow the oil oil
I put RTV over the end to stop it

I had a 4 - 5" lift on mine and ran 37s. I needed a new tailshaft and fitted cranked arms. Brake lines were fine.

So another 1.5 - 2" on top of that and you could run 40 - 42" tyres :shock:

the brake on the pictured winch i operated by a brake pedal in te cab
the vehicle is an auto leaving space for he third pedal, a hand lever could do the job too.

on your plug strip some of the sheath push the bare wire into the hole and drop some solder down or araldite the insulation end in with the bare ...

suitable for road work only really in standard guise
we have a TD4 very reliable nice to drive with the Auto box

offroading one may be a receipe for problems IMHO

The Ashcroft CV's sound great, I hope they are successfull as we would love to have a better option to what is currently used. What Spline configuration are they?

The Caliper Simon uses is designed to stop a huge earth mover
so stopping a 2.5T land rover won't cause it to many problems.
