I'm not aware of any special trick to changing the oil filter - unscrew old filter, screw on new filter. I presume you're doing it at the same time as an oil change? I don't know about the 3.5, but on the 3.0 it's easier to access from underneath. Remove the bash plates for access; you may find you ...
