A mate ran the largest offset 16x10s he could get with 35" creepys and a 3" lift. After trimming the inside of the front mud flaps he had no scrubbing issues. Only pic I have of it handy. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u87/Twisty_Toy94/LCMP%20Offroad%20Expo%202011/P1010125.jpg This vid might ...

Yeah, 40, 60, 70s are interchangeable. All are 4.1 ratio. Some early 40s will have different axle splines and driveshaft flange.

I reckon a 40 series would be the go. Solid trucks and easy to modify (look great too) With your budgetvthe only problem will be finding one without too much rust.

I didn't notice any vibration difference when the King Coilovers and remote res shocks were fitted to my FJ Cruiser. But the ride and handling improved by heaps!

If your happy to spend the time pulling shit apart, advertising it on forums and ebay, and packaging and freighting it you will usually do very well.
I've parted a few trucks now, both modified and stock trucks, and always ended up with more then what i could have sold them whole for.

Can't believe they are bringing in this rule for QLD. Seems so stupid for soft top 4x4s that would have questionable strength in there windscreen in a rollover. (ie FJ40)
All going well Brooksy should have the one in my BJ42 sorted for you to approve by the end of March.

Aussie Restos (your Ebay link) is currently building a new stretched tub for my 40 series. The panels they made up for mine turned out awesome, so I would say these are too. Check out the members area for some pics of mine.

Yeah where are you getting krawlers? People like fourbys say that there to dear and dont worry bout em. If i could get krawlers for a decent price that would be the tyre of choice. They are pricey....these guys will ship direct to you from the US. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake ...
