The stinger is under $1000 and can be adapted to any engine, via TPS or Map sensors. It is programed via a laptop.

Cplux,

I ran an EMS on my supercharged Discovery. Very easy to tune and reliable. EMS now have a new budget unit called the Stinger. Which I hear is very good. The website is http://www.enginemanagementsystem.com/ They are located in smithfield.

Why not use a set of these adjustable spacers

this will give you the height and allow you to move the axle slightly forward to clear the back of the front inner guard.

You will also need to limit the amount of down travel as at full droop with heim joints and some traction the diff simple wants to drive under the car. The standard rover bush is a good median. Kinked arms work well but need to be strong.

Anyway you can get these parts from www.trailcraft.net.au

The rover stuff never sold in any numbers. Some of the stuff we built went to Coopers but that was it. We are concentrating on rock crawling components and pre built buggies now.

yeah thats right. The sliding spring perch is also ideal for a shackle reversal like on BJ's truck where the shackle is hard up against the chassis.

BTW: BJ I am not having a go at you.
