You will need the following 1hdt parts to convert a 1hz to a 1hdt.
Head complete with injectors, cam etc.
Pistons & gudgeon pins (32mm pins)
Con rods (1hdt small end is 32mm, 1hz is 30mm)
Injector pump & all injector lines .
As for the block, the only diff is the 1hdt has a oil pressure feed ...

Toyota CT26 Turbo
G'day all
Got an 80 series toyota turbo (1HDT) set up fitted to a 1HZ donk in my 75 series ute, it's currently running 10psi boost.
I am just about to fit an intercooler and was wondering what to increase the boost to.
I was thinking around the 14psi mark, don't want too high as the turbo may be ...

1HZ TD I/C oil cooler
A question for all you 1hz td i/c gurrus,
Is there any advantage fitting an external oil cooler to one of these donks or is the standard coolant cooled oil cooler sufficient.
I can understand it would be pointless in a std 1hz donk but when your running 15psi boost and things a getting very hot ...

From these comments it sounds like not many of you have a clue about what happens to air when you compress it.
THE MORE YOU COMPRESS IT THE HOTTER IT GETS.(google "bernoulli's theorem")
Most stock turbos are generally efficient compressing air up to about 16 psi, what this means is that they do not ...

HZJ75 ute intercooler
Has anyone out there fitted a intercooler to a 75 series ute with turbo 1HZ donk.
75 series don't have much room up front for an air to air and not much room under bonnet either.
I am leaning towards air/water type as its a compact design under bonnet and they have smaller radiator.
I have heard of ...

1HD-T injector pump swap
Was wondering if anyone has fitted a 1HD-T injector pump onto a 1HZ turbo engine?
I have fitted & been running a 1HD-T turbo setup onto my HZJ75 but I stayed with the original injector pump, but now pump is getting pass its use by date.
I would like to use the 1HD-T injector pump as it has a boost ...
