The Nissan items are good value, they only cost $120 and they fit in 5 minutes with a bit of rope tp set them in.
Seems to me that it would end up costing more to fit the fixed galss items.
Cheers,
Roger

G'day, I don't have a Navara, I have a GQ Troll, but I have mounted one of these pumps in the back of my truck, and connected it to the second battery with a tank and a 100 psi pressure switch. It works a treat, and pumps my tyres up in a fraction of the time it takes the rest of the Club with their ...

Just to throw another angle to the argument, I recently bought a 1990 GQ with supposed 2" lift on it. Was sagging and the OME shocks were leaking (over 400,000km on it). I replaced the shocks with Ralph in-cab adjustables, and put polyair bags in the back, and now I have a truck which rides well on ...

GQ brakes
G'day All, Have read this thread with interest, and would appreciate some advice. I have a 1990 GQ station wagon with a lot of resident gear aboard, and have found that the single piston caliper is not up to the task when I load up for a trip away. I understand that the GU has a dual piston caliper ...

Clunks in front
I know it sounds a little crazy, but have you checked the driveshaft universal joints?? Had a truck a while ago with that problem. However, that said, I have a problem in my GQ where I get strange clunks in the front which feel to be under my Right foot, but only when it is wet. Have had it checked ...

Disagree with the criticism of the tough dogs, I put adjustable Ralphs on my 90 GQ about 12 months ago, with RANCHO in-cab adjusters, and it is the ducks guts. I can change settings on the go, and I find with the stabiliser unlock, and polyair bags, it gives me a huge scope for changing settings on ...

Front Lockers for GQ
I have read a lot about the pros and cons of auto and manual lockers for the front diff of a GQ, but I would like to hear from members who have fitted air lockers OR auto lockers. I especially would like to get some feedback about auto lockers and how they perform in the following situations: deep ...
