yes they are the same distance forward as a normal superior arm! which is proportionate to lift height and IS more than stock ...

I would think IF it is such a common thing to happen, and people say ahh well shit happens, then the bloke doing the work can tell you he will replace the part WHILE he is in there, not button it up and hope for the best :shock:

I know it is a stupid question, but mainly after info on the 4.8 variant, I have after many hours stumbled across a MAF for a 4.8 for $64 , now the thing is I need to know, the part number is for a GR 4.8, and the Nissan number comes up as an Infiniti, which is alright as it is listed as the same ...

I have a 4.8, 5 speed auto, that surges while cold and driving :?

When cold in park, can rev it and it's normal, the idle is not rough(read about that), drive and it's normal UNTILL you back off the accelerator THEN it surges\hunts up and down the rev range from about 700-1600rpm.

It aint a cheap yum cha manifold from ebay is it.

You need to get one with a thicker flange, and made form something decent, people bang on about stainless and what not, but it does crack sooner or later, you be needing some good old cast iron :D

I would try and find a lower diff ratio and try that ;) , it wont fix it but it may make it livable for you :D

It will definatly be the next cheapest option any way, but i would really go have a chat with Joel, i don't know him, but i have heard good things.

I have never understood the LS1 ...

Joel does have a pretty rep for this sort of work, but it never hurts to get a second opinion.

HAve you driven any other LS1 patrols?, yours might not be that bad, but atleast you would have a better idea on what acceptable.

Gearing plays a BIG part in how a car feels, go to 4.6's or even 4.88's ...

Looking at a series 1 Disco, any thing particular i should be aware of, it will be a petty not diesel.

I used to own a Rangie so is it just the usual like drive line lash and what not, or are there particular gremlins i should be ...

I'd personaly go Teng every time.
