i second the notion that its cracked,in your first two photos looks like a crack in the body starting from the second last flat head screw,probably not your problem but i'd be checking it out a bit closer if i was you.

guys bloke i know has a icom uhf from the usa,its 35watts or thereabouts,i know the local ones are 5 watts i think,is there any advantage to this or is it just a wank,i can get it at a good price,is it ok to use in oz and will it be better then a local unit?

daniel get on ebay,theres a bloke on there sellin great greasy anti invert shackles much cheaper then arb,i went HD dakar springs off arb,shackles off ebay,bushes off ebay,ubolts off arb,kyb scorched 4 shocks.

no dont take it out,need to lift it at rear above the doors to gain access,put it back on with some contact adhesive,it might wrap around under the rear door seal if i remember,been a while.

sooty i got some stuff called fatmat off a bloke in oz on ebay,alot cheaper then dynamat,its bitumen based,foil back sticks on,i havent finished yet but it made alot of diff in my 60 series,i'll be buying another roll of this stuff,dynacrap was too dear for me.

oh i know what it is but havent tackled it yet,apparently there is a regulator on the back of the temp gauge,it controls temp and fuel gauge etc,well apparently you can pull it apart quite easy and there is meant to be a earth connection or something in there that gets corroded over time and causes ...

mate ive only seen imports in that condition,thats fantastic,i reckon 24volts would be a pain in the arse,mines gonna come up like that but thats after alot of work,ive got nearly a rust free start so not so bad,just a couple of small dings to sort out,how many klms on the truck sahara?
