could too little fuel cause this problem? the ute doesnt soot at all...he called the company that did the conversion and they said dont flog it take it back for a re-tune.

it is a digital pyro so it has deg-C and deg-F. it was in deg C i tried both settings to be sure.

the pyro is reading from the dump pipe.

we did a turbo conversion on a 3rz extra cab hilux, ran awsome on the dyno then driving round the street it would carry on like a pig on the throttle. installed a surge tank and ran like a dream ever since. good luck

just fitted a rather large water to air cooler to my slightly tweeked patrol and just took it for a test drive and noticed that the gauge takes way more right foot till it spools up to 14psi. when im just doin 60 ish its only reading bout 2-4psi and it used to be 5-7, is this norm?

vibration in acc pedal at 0-45kmh than from 80-90kmh. anyone had this problem before? cab doesnt vibrate or shake lt only comes through the pedal... cheers in advance.

hey wizz kids iv developed an oil leak that at first and second glance seems to be coming from the top bolt of the vac pump, has anyone had a prob like this? its slowly getting worse but it is also good rust prevention under the ute till i fix it :roll: any clues would be helpfull!

dept of trans say they think they did...

use a standard manual 2jz bellhousing, shave 6mm off each end and get a spigot bearing spacer from marks add. and the r 151 will bolt straight up. as 4 clutches i would get anything cheap cause it wont last long when u get some power into it,

i have just put a 2j into my lux and it goes sweet, it does run the r series box so no addaptors req. im tryin 2 work out how to post pics and ill throw some up

an r series hilux box will bolt up 2 the supra 5 speed bell. i have just done this on mine and it was a sinch!

has anyone had any problems with the drivers side auto switch not working?

iv done a 2jz conversion with a marks addaptors dyna box into a hilux, the first one messed itself on the dyno and now the new one wont select 5th gear. iv cheacked that none of the linkages are hittin the body. is it just a bad choice of box and has anyone else had this sort of prob?
