have the oppertunity to grab a 2004 SR5 dual cab lux 3.0L td for 11 grand
as its through a mate, my worry is that it has 240X kms on the clock, has been serviced regulary but im worried about how long these engines are prone to last, anyone have any experiences?

tail lights...

my tail lights have stopped working for some reason, all other lights work, indicators, reverse, brakes. but not the red tail lights, have checked bulbs, are ok, have checked earth and seems ok,(or else the brakes lights wouldnt work?) any one else had such a problem?

im actually going to be doing a CA18 in my zook thanks to CA18ZUK's info on his swap, have also found the ca20 gearbox from a nissan pintara bolts straight up and is a shorter box so im hoping modified Driveshafts wont be nessacary.

removed all, cleaned with emery tape and crc still no luck, i connect it up and the right solanoid makes a loud clicking sound when the controller is pushed to retract, my guess is solanoids are fucked, anyone else had this problem?

ok i have found that the white wire on the hand controll is constant and the green is retract (according to the pic on the remote), and black is to feed out the cable, but when i connect them it clicks and there is smoke coming from where the neutral conects to the controll box on the winch, anyone ...

hit a taxi in the rear left quaterpanel when he cut infront of me, took of the back bumper of his camry cracked rear windscreen and bent chassis a little bit.
all i had was a cracked park light, 3mm C section steel as a bumper will do that.
