if its spitting out the overflow it just means that the coolant is boiling. not specific to a thermostat. it just means SOMETHING in your cooling system is not doing its job properly.

no clues on not starting properly

i f'en love how they've done this into a ute. IMO if cuiser wagons are going to be cut into a ute, it needs to be styleside otherwise it just looks alittle out of proportion. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/jonamaphone/Ute2.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/jonamaphone/Ute1.jpg these ...

im not saying that they are the same at all. you skew what im saying to dismiss my opinion but then excuse the same principles (being the fact that a lux drivetrain will destroy the lightweightness of your car) to to back yourself up. sounds like you're only going to hear what you want to hear. i ...

how can you say that coils will make his car bad to drive on the road? the springs will make it better to drive on and offroad. but in saying that i wouldn't spend that sort of money on an 84 lux.

mates N/A diesel patrol on 31s easily holds 130 on the highway and still has more if he needs it. my 2.8 only got to 130 down steep hills with my foot to the floor.

if i was in your position, id go the patrol (actually, id buy an 80 series) over the hilux.

speedo - i think you can buy something from snake racing to correct it.

easyier way would be to pay to have a 50mm spring lift put in. easier, but a hellava lot more expensive

got my centre bolts from pedders, had to take an old one in as an example so they could match it. cost of new bolts - free

got the ubolts from TJM, they were half the price of pedders (15 each) , made from forged steel and about 10mm longer than what pedders could find me.

you should never compromise your starting battery by using it for aux purposes Yep so easy to discharge it and it won't turn the starter motor. Also a pain in the ass when you want to have a fridge running and you only have the 1 battery, do you take the risk or rather know you'll be able to start ...
