if u can get a normal window winder you can take the door trim off and take the motor of the window and wind it manually, even a set of vice grips or a pair of pliers will get the job done but u may hurt the spline on the regulator

ur locking ring has smashed the teeth and taperd off so it wont stay engaged, $690 from nissan but i think some ppl have got em cheaper

has anyone ever used a diesel head? can it be done? i know u can put a diesel head on a 350 chev and things like that but would it work for a nissan

yeh thats what i was thinkin, is there a different valve set for LPG that i should be using since im doin it? i got LPG about 2 weeks before it shit. someone also said somethin about harder valve springs and shaving the head before i stick it on

my ol mans a mechanic and i asked the same thing when i did my gasket and i got the same response they must have a reason for it, somethin to do with coolant paths and cavitaion in the system causing bubbles and inturn uneven cooling and overheating

depending on what brand coil u have that 5v isnt right for any normal coil that runs a ballast resistor it should be more like 8v, heres a check to do on ur coil resistance between ur coil + and coil - should be between 1.08-1.32 ohms resistance between ur coil + and high tension lead output 9 and ...

head rebuild for LPG

can anyone give me some suggestions on head mods i can do and some prices, im takin the head off (suspected crcack) if so i will be gettin a new casting and starting from scratch and doin all the work myself, i recently got straight LPG so any help on gettin the right gear would be appreciated

and to short it just put the wire off the + coil to the 12v side of the resistor, basically ur bypassing the resistor, but id only do it for a few seconds if it does start, at lesat ull know its the resistor if it does start

do it to try it but dont use it like that because u will fry ur coil in no time if its meant to run with a resistor, u can get a new one for like $5 from supercheap, but yeh u should have ur ignitor wire on the 12v side of the ballast resistor anyway but ur coil should stll be gettin 8V so 5.5 wont ...

i dont see why it will pump dry, as soon as u cut the power the fuel will cut and the motor will stop, it cant run on compressed air only, and if for some reason the circut to the pump is still complete it will simply keep running, but it wont

yeh thats how i got mine sorry i was just being dum, all i did was removed all the condenser loom, red to 12v side of ballast resistor, black to - coil, set the gap and hit the key, so i duno, sounds like uve tryed everythin, hows the coil earth? if it isnt earthed well there will be no circuit.

if u isolate ur negative battery earth ur effectivly cutting all power to the car so in turn ur cutting power to the fuel solenoid so the motor can compress all it wants but it wont be getting fuel

do that while getting someone to turn the motor over at least ur dizzy will be spinning, but as i said too, doesnt the black wire goto ur coil negative? or is urs differnt

isnt the black wire meant to goto ur coil -ve? i dont know that what u are doing will do anything becasue ur supplying power but the lobe sensor will be releasing said power to the coil, if ur lobes are spinning ur sensors not doing anything therefore u wont have a multimeter reading

if u isolate the negative the engine will still turn off, yes the pump is earthed to the motor but the motor is still earthed to the battery, if u isolate it ur are breaking the circuit
