Ive seen a fair few MTZ damaged sidewall threads popping up lately. I think their stiff sidewall is their own worst enemy. My bighorns have a relatively soft sidewall in comparison and tend to mould themselves around rocks, so do my mates Buckshots

Landcruiser Safari Tuff question

Just a quick question. I just had delivered, an exedy Sports Tuff clutch kit for my HZJ80. I took it out of the SPORTS TUFF box and the pressure plate is Gold with part number TYC540TF. I was under the impression that Sports tuff clutches were pink and Safari Tuff were gold. Is this correct or does ...

Hey mate, It could very well be a head gasket issue but its not likely on the Au onwards. It does happen but nowhere near as coomon as the E-Series. If you run the engine with the radiator cap off does it push water or bubbles out through the cap? While you are there make sure the coolant is ...

LMAO the 2wd and 4wd ranger have a completly different engine.(unless its a high rise 2wd with a 3L) Its more then a "front diff and suspension lift". By doing it you would be wasting your time. Do it, you wont look back. a well looked after 16 year old 80 series will drive better and squeak/rattle less than a 8 year old GU. They have more room, easily as good offroad ( Patrol has better LSD but cruiser has better front flex ) and have plenty of aftermarket support. The only bad points ...

I used the 4wd Systems kit which cost me $499 and 20 bucks delivery I think. I had a mate of mine ( gearbox and diff specialist ) fit the kit. I had a few bearings and seals replaced as my transfer had a bit of noise in it. Most places will charge $300-$350 to fit the kit alone.
