yes i notice it on start up and sometimes when i do a quick change,,,

but i never do the big rev thing i'd be lucky to go over 3000 revs,,

intermitant heavy clutch pedal,,,advise please

Hi all, Back with another question on this clutch of mine,,,in my 88 gq lwb 4.2. about every second day i drive my truck at some stage i get a heavy pedal as compared to "normal",,,any ideas ??? my mechanic told me that was normal,,(ahhhhh my brain hurts) also to note when i had the new clutch done ...

i've got a fresh 2" coil and 2" body with 33.5" x 12.5" muds on toyota offset rims,,looks just right.

no to the lada,,here's why i have one,, custom exhaust, webber, 2"lift no front sway bar,ballbearings everywhere,fulltime 4x4,,off road really good imho,4 coils center difflock,,50% heavier than a zook, i could go places where i had to hold up my mates zook for him, down falls for lada,, drive axles ...

new springs are in,, so is the 2" body lift, 33" x12.5" MT's on 8" toyota off set rims are also on,, need to heat and bend the H/L range stick, need to fit my flare kit, un locked the rear nuts with a 240v heat gun/paint strippergun. truck is looking the part,needs a winchbar but what a ...

thanks guys,, will be changing the coils tomorrow,,, all points noted,, a lucky story about a lada niva,, i still have the coffin on wheels but i was changing the front rhs drive axel as it snapped, i read the procedure and went to play,,two wish bone set-up the lada has,mine has no front sway bar ...

anyone here changed their own springs? is it true that i only have to undo the bottom shock mount and jack up the chasis?? what about the swar bars drop them or not?? i've heard stories of guys getting their faces ripped off from playing with springs so how's the danger factor? thanks in advance ...

from the inside with a lever (screw driver),,, at the bottom of the frame ,slide lever in/under and lift the rubber flap over the lip,,, you'll have to inch along lifting bit by bit while holding the already fipped over part until you get the pressure off, mine were that rusty i ask my kid to open ...

G'day Area54, just got it back from next door and my mate said,,ooops too much free play in the peddle,gave an adjustment and he's happy, speaking of LHS engine mount yeah we changed them last week as the LHS was broken,, Friday saw a new radiator in the truck,kewl runnin. Scruffy

I should of commented but i meant the factory disconnect handle in the cabin,,
I've got a 2"coil lift on my lwb gq and from i read in the thread off road i should pull use the lever to save stress on the sway bar its self,,

i was looking at just replacing the rubbers around the spacers,but after reading many posts on bodylifts i am now contemplating putting a 1" body lift over my 2"coil lift and running 33" tyres,, if i do the above will i have to do anything else,?(hope not) with the above in mind, 33" tyres over 15 ...
