Re: Rear Steer- flipping housing???
The easy way is to cut the ends off a rear diff and weld the knuckles from the front diff on,no flipping or spinning required. You just need both housing, and measure twice cut once unless you want to get custom length inner axles made.

Re: Power steering pumps for full hydro
Getting a pump modified for more flow won't shorten its life if it's done properly by a profesinal power steer shop that use a flow bench. There's to many hackers out there that don't really know what thier doing.
I've been running a flowed vitara pump for 5 years and have'nt had any dramas with it.

Re: Trans cooler installation location
most stock auto coolers are a tube running inside the bottom tank of the radiator anyway.
I run a auto cooler and a power steer cooler infront of the radiator and its never caused an issue, but they only cover 1/4 of the radiator.

I use blue max on most parts that aren't near anything to hot and high temp(red) around the hot stuff.
Don't use gasket goo on your auto's pan,the cork gasket will do the job fine, just dont over tighten the bolts as this is the cause of most cork gasket leaks.

the pump should ALWAYS be on the outlet (cold) side of the heat exchanger as the pumps dont like heat for to long. This info is on the Bosch web site.
The seals in the pump could be stuffed if it has been on the hot side.
also might not hurt to have the barrel pressure tested to make shaw its not ...

just move the body back a couple of inches Aaron.
if you add more length your belly plate will have to be a whole 2400x1200 sheet so you slide over everything.
anywhere between 95-110 is good for 37s
in tuff truck 2010 the average WB was around 108

Im running a built 3L30 (th180)in my zook.
it was a pain in the ass to make it full manual so we recased it with an aussie th180 case so it was a much simpler job.
Its not just a valve body swap to go full manual, you also need the seperator plate they make to go with it the govener blanking plate ...
