Hi guys, some helpful people on here have been great making suggestions but still stumped.

Initial problem...
going up a big hill or just after a smaller one, it would start to run rough like it was out of fuel and die.
wait 10-15mins it'd start back up again, after a bit of a cough, and then it'd ...

I know theres some comps that have rules against ICV but you're prob not going in them with this so no dramas

The batts work well when new but they/range dies too quickly.
I'll have a think about this one as as you say the car may effect the signal.etc

Hi Guys,

Batteries go flat in the garage/gate remote like nothing else.
is hardwiring the remote into the car's 12v a bad thing? i'd hope it would boost the range
seriously though, is it as simple as a resistor inline then connected to the remote control's battery +/- terminals?

You can definitely engineer wider diffs in qld, the rule about track width increases is in regard to wheel offsets and the use of spacers etc.
engineer i spoke to said it had to be within regs 50mm increase wms to wms of the vehicle receiving them before you even consider offsets.
