you can set the resistance on the AFM which in turn can make the moror run more lean.

yep that pretty much what its doing. Never knew it was possable to do them in situ.
Seems to be a mitsubishi thing with VSS at about the 220000 mark

Gday all. The ex misses has a 99 model paj exceed and its up to me (to pay) for anything that ever needs to be fixed on it. ATM its intermitently blowing smoke and im pretty shore its the valve stem seals. Does anyone have any idea as to cost to get these recoed? Ill be removing and replacing them ...

yes you are right with the larger input spline of the c4 but also they have the oli pump unit bolted seperate to the bellhousing.

Must clarify i meant machine out the patrol cases INPUT not the output sorry and press fit the c4 input from a tailshaft and tig in place.
