My mate had a carnt of a time trying to get warranty on the timing chain on his... In the end they accepted and because they took so long, more engine damage was done.

But other than that, It goes well... He doesn't complain too much, just about Nissan. :)

Sprayed it straight on, left it for 10 mins, gave it a bit of elbow grease and sprayed it off. The mrs just drove off with my ...

The more I think about it, the more I love this design.

Air will travel to the point of lowest pressure and will exit at an even pressure...

Is there any gap between the rod holders?

Looks good, Could you please give a measure of the 'ready made' as it is? On first estimate it looks good to fit up to a WRX motor (forester xt 09) top mount allocation without too much alteration to the air ram tunnel area. Here is a pic of the TMIC original. http://i535.photobucket.com/albums ...

Sweet, sounds good nicbeer. Yeah some of the guys with fozzies are making subs that sit in the spare wheel with great success and totally out of view and you retain your boot space. Yeah inverter and dry wheel chair type batteries. 26 amps each, they last forever. Charges off alternator with a ...

Just got a Subaru 09 XT... Can't wait to start hop-ups

Waiting to pick up next week from the dealer... Can't wait! Still got the GQ for the rough stuff! ;)

Just wondering what options are there for these cars?
Like for off roading, power enhancement etc.

I know of http://www.subaxtreme.com.au/

They mainly do bars and skid pads.

if you mix some oil in with your grease to, so your grease turns to a thick liquid it would work, that way it still flows like oil so you still lubricate all your bearings properly but is still thick enough that it wont leak past seals as quick. mundy Cool thanks, thats sort of a happy medium then ...

Or can you get away without?

I tried it without and had both leak within a couple of months...

Get 1 roof rack, place as far forward as necc.
Attach aluminum plate to rack to add support at front of plate and attach the trailing end to top of tent section.

Not sure what would be the best way to go about making it removable to access your tent though.

Leaking diff seals, temporary fix = HTB grease = ok?

Serious question, With leaking front diff seals on a GQ, (so mostly driving on 2wd) Has anyone tried ploping a (fair)bit of grease into the pumpkin as a temp fix? Why/Why not isn't it a good idea? Would there be an excess build up of heat/stress? Loss of power? It is a lubricant, thats the main ...

I'm guessing the main issue would be charging the batteries from alty?

You could fit a 2nd alty, maybe your old 24v one to the new motor.

But I am not sure how to wire electrics if you have a split 12/24 volt car system.

Hopefully someone else might have a bit more of a clue. ;)
