It is sad to hear this, I have been a competitor at many comps and this was one of the best. An event run by competitors for competitors, run fair and well every year. A big thanks to Tony for use of his property and big thanks to the marshals, ladies in the canteen and everyone from the Canobolas ...

Great comp, again!! Its a credit to all the guys and girls of the Canobolas club.

Can someone list the comps in NSW?

I had a quick look at what comps there are for "outlaw" type trucks and and coming up with stuff all.

I have;

Tuff Truck: March
WillowGlen: October (but needs rego)
Toperi: November

Thats it, surely there are more?

I am sure if there was more of these types of comps closer to Sydney/Canberra there would be good support

Can someone please confirm.

7 Approved (3.2 Ton rated min) recovery points must be fitted to front and rear of vehicle and must use high tensile bolts or be professionally welded on!

Does this mean that the bolt on tow hooks are legal or are they a no go. I can't remember.

You can just remove the diff and drive shafts but you will also need to plug the holes left by the drive shafts and locking hubs or you will get stuff in your wheel bearings. The rest is the same or close enough, I think that have a different stub axle that's about it.
