I have to agree with most of what '1madengineer' said. I have owned my 80 series for 4 years now and within the first month of owing it I broke most of the teeth off the stock 4.11 front crown wheel and pinion gears. I took advantage of the bad situation back then by installing arb air lockers, 4.56 ...

MAV_RIK, My old man has gone from a 1994 4.5L petrol manual 80 series to a 1999 4.5L petrol manual 100 series and then to a 2003 4.7L V8 petrol automatic 100 series. He has owned them all from new and has had them always serviced at toyota every 10,000kms. The fuel economy in the V8 Auto 100 series ...

Yep, still on the 33's. Iv been holding off buying my next set of tyres as the 33's still have some meat on them. In the mean time Im spending that money on stuff like this new clutch, part time kit, etc. Still waiting on crawler gears from Marks 4WD Adaptors, thought i would take full advantage ...

Hey bluey, pulling the front driveshaft out and going for a drive was the first thing i tried. Make just about no difference. I even tried it the other way round (front in, rear out) with also little difference. Iv also spaced the gearbox/transfer case cross member down 10mm making the driveline ...

The cause is apprently a worn center diff so instead of replacing or rebuild the center diff, Im going to fit a part time kit instead. Im picking ...

guerd87, how much did those 5inch dobison springs cost you? Your convincing me to try new 5inch springs because my current 4inch springs that i bought the 4WD with are more like 3inch now and could do with a replacement. I already have longer shocks, adjustable f&r panhard rods, extended brake lines ...
