G'day Nic80. EFS don't make a long enough shock for a 5inch lift or above. The longest they sell is a 690mm front and 695mm rear. Your shocks would most probably be maxing out. My mate has a Dobinson 4inch lift and is running 750mm fronts and 770 rears. I have a 6inch Dobison lift and run 846mm ...

I have to agree with most of what '1madengineer' said. I have owned my 80 series for 4 years now and within the first month of owing it I broke most of the teeth off the stock 4.11 front crown wheel and pinion gears. I took advantage of the bad situation back then by installing arb air lockers, 4.56 ...

I had the exact problem a few weeks after I fitted my 6inch dobinson coils, uncontrollable violent steering wheel death wobbles. A VERY LONG STORY SHORT, all i had to do was replace my tie rod ends and all was fixed.

8inch lift! Can't wait to see pictures!

With the shocks, whats the longest currently avaible? Iv got 29.5's pro comps for my 6inch lift. not to sure how much longer you can get.

Caster correction and drive line angles is going to be your biggest problem... Have fun and keep us informed.

Iv got a good reason tho... Since my 6inch lift, im getting bad noises coming from my transfer case espically with CDL engaged which wern't there before. Just wanting to know as I was getting confused as to if I fit a part time kit that I was "downgrading" its maxium capabilty.

The air line inside the diff must be damaged. The air being pumped into the diff will now be filling the whole diff housing and escaping throught the weekest point... your breather.

Yep, 99.9% sure it will be your TPS (throttle Positioing Sensor). You need to seal it up with a tube a silicon. Did you just give your engine a wash? Is your dual Fuel? I had this exact problem when I first got my 93 80Series. I would splash through some water and it suddenly wouldn't rev past ...

Unfortunatly 'rezpkt' is a good friend of mine but don't listen to him... hes just jealous that he bought 4's and now i have 6's, makes his look stock. :D
