Bellhousing for LR 101/LT 95/ Defender

Hi! Anyone has a bellhousing from a LR 101 (1983/84 V8/LT 95 4 speed)? I need this to get my rear propshaft longer. And dont want to move the engine. Thanks, /Sam

Hi! Same thing happen me couple years ago. I Just rewelded it. Be careful, clean everything (important), test weld on some similiar steel thickness to adjust the right power and tread speed (if you useing MIG-welder). I havn´t had any problem with my since that I re-welded. Good luck! /Sam

This how my axle looks (rear one) same diffpan in the front (6mm steel)
Plus some mod for extra shocks etc. Test setup before welding. Southdown and the other doesn´t do any HD diffpans for welding, just bolt on´s. Errg couldn´t upload image from my mac...only public servers will work I read.

Hey! Thanks for all the tips I´m getting, really helpful you guys! I think I will go for external "tubing" and try to make more like maxi-drive. More or less cut a hi-spec steel pipe into two halfs and then weld it on. This to save ground clearance. Land Rover I´m building is a Defender 90 tru ...
