Loosen the locknut and wind the screw in to richen (about half a turn to start with) go for a drive and accelerate, check for black smoke. Snorkel with K&N Air Filter.
Extractors and free flow exhaust.
Wind the injector pump in slightly.
Make sure you run a good diesel cleaner - such as Chemtech Diesel Power.

Re: gq cooling system Qs

Ok, ive searched but cant find some answers to these Qs. Whats the best way to work out right amount of coolant and should i use concentrate or pre mix. Most coolant manufacturers will list the correct ratio to use. Ideally you would use a refractometer, which would tell you exactly what percentage...

You can make anything fit really.
A supercharger off a 3.0 whatever I think would be a good start.
It would be a matter of making brackets, intake etc. Shouldn't be a huge task.

They come preset at 0.8mm so 0.76mm would be right.

The ground electrode would have to be straight to achieve a gap of 7.6mm

If NGK suggest BP6ES then I would opt for BPR6EY.

You have the added protection of the resistor which does protect electronic devises.
And the plug also has a V in the electrode which helps to produce a fatter spark.

A BPR will be dearer than a BP. Group 2 v's Group 1 pricing. (usless info)

COOPER Tyres - Who is using them?

I am running 33-12.5R15 Cooper STT Armour Tek3 tyres on my GQ.

They are an awsome all round tyre, obviously suited best for mud.

What are your thoughts on them?

Every 40k is sufficient or unless there is an evident noise.

Better to be safe and do every 20k by the book though.

Should only take 30mins max.

Hi Jimmy

Castrol VMX in the Gear Box & 80w/90 in the Transfer Case (as per the lubrication guide from Castrol)

Originally it had 80w/90 in the Gear Box but was very hard to select gears when cold.
