I have a 1993 Rangie with an ARB front bar. I presume it is a non winch bar as there are no holes for fitting a winch.
However, I'm thinking of buying a winch and am wondering if it is possible to fit a winch to this bar.
If so what are the tricks?

you used to be able to get a kit to swap the struts around so it actually pulls to window closed, ie it is attached to the car closer to the lower tailgate and attaches to the window closer to the roof. ^^^^^^ Guy's got the right idea.
