Personally i wouldnt run efs extreme shocks up north or obn heavily corrugated roads as i run tehm on my GQ and i havent long been back from cape yorka nd yes they did run cold most of the time, but they also gave me a very harsh ride up there. If i was going up there again which i will be, i would ...

Just out of curiosity but will an arb air locker fit in my rear diff even though it has already had a nissan vacuum locker in it.

Only reason i ask is because if it will it will save me from buying another diff complete and plus ARB cant give me a straight answer if it will or not.

Awning

Im currently looking for an awning thats easy to make and even easier to assemble and i would like something similar to arb awning that bolts to the roof bars on most 4wds.

It also has to be light weight and able to assemble with just 1 person.

yea i thought about that but apparently 85s are too low for mud driving or sand driving and i dont do much of either but if i have to then i will

A mate runs 43% gears on 37s and reckons that is sufficient but im only running 35s

Most of my driving is rock and steep declines and i do the occasional mud runs here and there and bugger all sand driving

I have spoken to a fair few people in brisbane and most guys recommend 43% as the 83s are too slow

all i used is 75x 75 x 6mm angle and works fine. Just go to your local steel supplier and try thema s they will have somethin layuing around. Then get 2 U bolts ( i think they are 35mm U bolts). And drill holes in the angle and all sorted.
