mate that 79 look amazing. how did you get the stacks to fit? I'm really thinking about doing a similar stack setup. so any information of yours would be helpfull.

Nissans are a tapered thread though so they seal by tightening on the thread itself, toyotas rely on steel and aluminium washers so that type of plug is out

Yes TPS, the only thing it controls is the EGR valve, when it gets out of adjustment it lets the EGR open too early, all of our 100 series as well as 79/79's have that problem, easy to adjust, you can test if it is the problem by disconnecting the vacuum hose that opens the valve then take it for a ...

Mate i do believe that my 79 is way more comforatable to travel in than me old 75, flex wise, the spring travel a lot easier than the shorter springs, will do measurements and pics when i get home this arvo just let us know what you need

yeah i have done this also worked a treat, but used a 3t endless chain, very hevy and slow operation but it worked in a bog where no one would ever have found us, mud didnt seem to be a problem we cleaned it and lubed when we got home

rear diffs are the same as the 78/79, the fronts pretty sure are the same as the wagon because they trak 2" wider on the front than rear

I bought an autron pillar gauge holder for my 79 series, it was ok but they arnt deep enough to hold the VDO boost gauges and pyrometer, so unless your mounting just electrical sensor water/oil temp they wont fit.

i have them in 305/70/R16 on my 79 series, deadset no problems, travel dead straight i let go of the wheel and it keeps going straight, they are about 75% wearing evenly and everything

Yeah i was runnin pretty much same gear 2" body 2" standard carrols front springs, 2" custom lightened and reset rear springs 2" shackles, fitted 36" simex's with ease

i used a self draw throught mini oiler like used on air tools, on my 75 's compressor, tapped suction side into after the air filter through the oiler then into the compressor. worked a treat.

HDJ79 Intercooler

Has anyone had any experience puting an intercooler on a hdj79 series ute, im thinking it may have to be a barrel type water/air with remote mount radiator, any help would be great
