I was not happy with my tough dog RTC dampener, mine did no more than 1500ks on road before it dropped its oil :x a friend of mine had the coil shatter on his. I put a factory GU dampener from the wreckers in its place, I find it works better.

How did you do the lift?, is it a body lift?, spring lift?, crank the torsion bars and blocks?, my guess is you will have to get standard springs put back in to lower it, which will give you the factory hight.

If the rtc is a tuff dog, I would steer clear :lol:. I got about 1000ks out of one on my dodge ramcharger 6''lift,36s before it leaked.
My mate had the coil on his tuff dog dampener shatter after a couple thousand ks!.
I'd go the h/d dampener.
