noise when accelirating 96XJ
A mate with an xj is have a problem with noise when ever he hits the loud pedal, it seems to be coming from the rear suspension. He's has greased the rear shackles and it change for a few minutes, but dose not have the noise when in 4wd or part-time, any ideas it squeks when you push on the rear bar ...

yeah we have used them. sorry about only having one not so good pic the jeep isn't mine it belongs to dad and its about the only photo i have up close of the bar, i have a patrol with good chassis mounted recovery points but when we had a good look at the jeep it just seamed laking of a good strong ...

At the moment I have not been able to post any pic's although not through lack of trying. The arb bar has two lugs (or ring that are renforced) on the front, but my understanding is these are for a hi lift jack and not strong enough to use a snatch strap on.

I have a Q, dose anyone know how or were to attach a recovery hook to an xj with arb winch bar i have been looking around the front and havn't come up with anything that looks remotely like an attachment point any help would be great
