Thats about what i trimed of my rangie when i fitted 33's but at the front i cut that piece off about 25mm under the indercator.

I fitted an Au V8 radiator and Twin Thremos to my 4.4 rangie was not hard at all and can sit in low range with a/c going in 35+ weather no worries.

Thanks for all the replies guy's, Got a set of Strommies yesterday from what i have read the spacers do tead to leak, So i have designed a Y piece adaptor to bolt onto the Leyland manifold and will take the 2 strommies Which should not be to hard to fabricate.

I have a ww2 Stormberg on my 4.4 in my 81 2 door and she keeps flodding on steep hills, Had a holly which was even worse would the rover twin carb set up work at steep angles Better and were can i get a spacer kit for a rover manifold-Do i need one???

I fitted the Dobinsions Shocks and springs to my Pajero mate about a year ago and i rate them very highly, For the price i could not find any shock better and there still as good as when i installed them. i just installed there springs on my Rangie and it holds weight and flex's very well. hope this...

Just would like to know how to tell the too motors apart??
I pretty sure mine is a terrier motor its got red rocket covers and ran like shit with the p76 plugs in her changed to the shorter terrier plugs runs great.

I have a 4.4 v8 in my 2 door Rangie had heaps of probs with the old stromberg, have been told a 350 holley bolts staight on, Its this true and is this the best carby for the job?

Rangie Build up

G'day guys I'm new to this forum and rangie rovers, Alway wanted one.
I bought a 1980 2 door rangie with a 4.4 leyland motor, Needs a bit of work to get on the road but thats all the fun of it. Any tips or Advise is welcome, Thanks Tim.
