i reckon you should go for it, its your project so dont listen to the people that say its a waste of time, only thing i would change is the motor, the 18R is a boat anchor and personally not my first choice, however it is your project and i hope it all goes well, sorry i couldnt help with any info ...

i got a rusty 1litre 83 model lwb with later model nt diffs (disk brakes) also had a blown head gasket and lots more work for 200 bucks i guess the older model ones are worth less but also has any one got pics of one set up for camping i wonder if they are long enough to put a mattress in i found ...

chassis number might help identify the year, most of the suff you have noted is bolt off and can be replaced with swb parts
