Probably does make it little less stable, but you could run a larger offset rim or spaces to make up track width. I haven't found it to be a big problem though.

I run m/p tekkers on my zook. Just a skinny Extreme Trekker. Best tyre for them in my opinion. Give heaps of diff clearance, good approach/departure angles, able to spin them in the mud and you can still turn the steering wheel because there so narrow. Look pretty good too...
