Painting Rangie Spares Flares
G'day Guys, On my first real outing with the Simex / Flares combo I damaged the drivers rear flare, so I have taken it off and patched the inside and flattend off the outside so looks like new again. Question is, has anyone managed to match up a paint to the original colour - I have tried a flat ...

EF Falcon fans in to RR?
G'day Guys,
I know there are some of you out there that have put in EL fans, but I have a set of EF fans - think they are the same???
Does anyone have any details on how they fitted them?
Do I need to trim much off?
Where do I secure them to the radiator?
THX in advance

Have done exactly what you are thinking about 2years ago. Not a problem to get it certified in QLD. I had to plate inside and out (2 L shaped braces ) Mine was a 130 so i lost 27" and went to 100". Saved about half a ton in weight with losing the tray i had as well. I had to have a certified welder ...

Re: 110 ute chassis shortening legalities
So I was thinking of selling the s2a chorty ute and buying say a late 80's 110 ute with a 4bd1 (Not in a hurry to get anywhere and I like that engine) and then get an engineer to chop 10 inches out of the chassis so it has 100" wheelbase and then take the tray off and just have a bit of barwork at ...

G'day Nick,
I know Scottys vehicle reasonably well - its a RR chassis with a Defender / S3 body - looks bloody great.
The gearbox is a 4 speed manual RR.
Hope this helps,
