i had the same problem with mine, started off with not going in sometimes then never went in at all. ended up finding a second hand box for $400, heaps cheaper than a reco box, which some people ask around $1600

extending bumpstops

hi all
I'm about to install a 4" lift in my LWB GQ. Now i've read that most guys extend the front bumpstops by installing 80 series bumpstops. Is this the best option? Is it straight forward bolt in? Any pics would be good

15x8 is accepted pretty well for 35's (neg22) @$55 for white
so are you saying that -22 offset should be enough? I brought a new set of rims a couple of months ago and they are -23. what is the actual offset of the landcruiser rims?

I'll be getting a 15x8" rim. I'm not really worried about legality, there for play. The tires i'm getting are MT Claws, 35x12.5x15. Will i get away with 8" rims or should i go 9"?

e Swaybar Disconnects

Hi all
I'm about to put a 4" lift in my Gq and have factory rear disconnecting swaybars. For the front swaybar i'm gonna put manual disconnects, but what do i do with the rear one? Can i keep the factory one or do i need to replace it with manual disconnects?

Hi all
Everytime i take the gq offroad i always get muddy water inside the headlights which stains the inside of the light, making them useless. What lights does everyone else have that might stop this?
