i went to start the rodeo (3.5L v6 140 000k) this morning and it just kept ticking ovetr and woulndnt start. the engine light was flashing and the manual says nothin. i am on a slight hill but nothin major , i rollded back so its level about a metre and turned it over again and its all sweet started ...

should just be a key i had an 03 sr5 TD (1kz-te) and even with the remote it had no immoboliser .... and the spare key was just a normal key

should be all sweet i bolted an aftermarket frontmount and changed nothing and it was great ....go nuts might not make much of a difference than you expect thought ....

yeah they will fit you need to wind the front torsion bars up 40mm (about 10 turns on the bolt clockwise i think )and take the mud flaps off and bash a bit metal that hangs down near the inner gaurd ... you'll still get a bit of rubbing off road or pullin into a driveway at full lock bvut depends ...

the 1kz (3.0td) doest have that good economy than you think the newer hiluxes and mazda bt50 are heaps better

have you had it since new?? if you bought it second hand it might have a dpchip in it or "performance chip" you dont know about and the its on a different setting. you can switch them from 0 to 9 and if its on a "more power" setting rather than an economy mode that could also make a difference. if ...

i have the factory 15x8 sr5 rims on my 2003 lux and 31 desert duelers ... sweet as for me ... only rubs when i go in the driveway really fast so i would say its a yes. 32's fit too but you gotta do a bit of homebashing which i am not a fan of and remove the mud gaurds.

i got a new dumpipe made then 2 1/5 back with new flex and strait through muffler.. i am with racq and didnt effect me. the main thing is the dump pipe cos the factory are CRAP if you get the exhaust without it then all you are gaining is a cool sound and no power

there should be a wire that connects to the handbrake once the handbrake is down the car shuts off also on newer models there are 2 wires that go the computer and when the car reaches 20km/h it shuts off, just in case they can bypass the handbrake. mine is like that i dont really use it only ...

hey man i have an 03 hilux td i get 550 kms to a tank i think they are a 66 litre tank too but highway drivein i get about 580 ish ( never had over 600) and just general driving i get about the 530 to 550 .... i just fill up at 500 then i know for sure i'll never run out of fuel.. hope it helps. oh ...
