Re: Suzuki sierra weber carb

Its been along time since I had mine but with the gearing I had at 90km the throttle was only just on so it was ok on fuel.
Once the secondaries are open thats when you will start using more fuel.

Re: sagged front spring on soa

Did we ever see the finshed results of droopys trac bar? I was keen to see how it ended up. And to add to the original post, my front springs sagged pretty bad until I made correct length bump stops to stop the springs inverting too much. The d/s is flat but the p/s has a slight arch still after a ...

Im STILL working on a way to make it water tight and still allow sufficent air, webers require alot more air than the stock carby. Adapters can be bought but are pricey and from what Ive heard ...

Thanks mate. Yes Im adjusting the shoes as far as I can till you have to almost force the drums on and you can feel they are just grabbing. There is no lip on the drums but I thought maybe they were too worn but the pedal is only moving bout 2-3" max before going hard so there is plenty of travel to ...

I had another good look at it. I rebled the rear brakes (both sides) adjusted the shoes out as far as I could before putting the drums back on and it was the same. There is a small kink in the hard line going to the passenger side but it still bleeds easily. I jacked up the driver side for a ...

I took the brake cylinder out and 1 side was siezed so I cleaned it up and put some brake lube on it but they still arnt any better. The piston ...

Mines not finished yet but they are the same as the sierra ones, the hardline closest to the firewall goes to the front of the m/c and the front hardline goes to the rear of the m/c.
Buy the way I got my prop valve and I pick up the new lines tommorrow to adapt it so I,ll report how it goes.

Reading on izook the prop valve they sell starts at somthing like 70% - 30% bias not sure if they are all the same.
I think the outback I got my m/c from had discs all around but I run disc/drum.
Im going to try to get a prop valve installed Im sure that will help alot.

I fitted my subaru m/c up yesterday, it was from a 96 outback. From What Ive seen it should work it is the 1 1/16 bore and has an outlet at the rear on the d/s and on the front at the top. I bleed the brakes then tested it. The pedal is great but the rears lock up before the front. Could I have the ...

Brace them dont let anyone weld them straight to the chassis!!!!! You know how hard it is to convince the rta that even though your vehicle has a hole where the chassis number use to be and youve changed the motor, colour of vehicle etc etc its NOT stolen  Did I mention to plate the chassis ...

My early model front is 1455 wms to wms and the rear is 1410 wms to wms.
But all the spec sheets I found state 1430 for the front? When measuring actual diffs they were more like the 1455 1410 measurements I got though.
Hope that helps Nik
