Your biggest issue will be the gearing with 31's on it. The 1.6 is fine its just let down when you stick bigger rubber on and there doesnt seem to many options for vitara owners to fix this. That said it does ok up hills, i basically live up a mountain and it does ok going up and down (still quicker ...

The ride is quite stiff on road (and ET's are noisy and skittish) and gearing is quite messed up (no 5th, lucky to get over 100km/h) but off road its hard to fault, i'm yet to do a cv but i'm sure it ...

er... i think hes talking about a calmini 3inch suspension lift and 2/3 inch body lift combo... I run 31" SIMEX Centipede Extreme Trackers (with calmini 3+3) and i think they are more like an actualy 32" diameter so you may get away with alot of 32" AT or more mild tred MT's with minimal to no ...

I run 31" ETs ... my car was a daily for a while and they aren't that bad if you can stand the noise and are aware of the fact that they move around a bit and in the wet they kind of skate around. Have not had them long enough to tell how they wear yet. But i probably did more damage to them an hour ...

Vitara Diff question

Hi bit of a zook newb, recently picked up a '96 JXL Vit with 31" Simex ET's and am just curious about the diffs in it and what my options would be. Before you flame me i did check the bible and did a search but couldnt find much... Now on the highway i'm getting about 90 - 100 top speed (5th seems a ...
