could any be converted to a 7 seater

how many people can a swb landy legaly have? i seen one on ebay with 1 sideways seat in the rear that seats 2 does this mean u could put another one on the other side and have 4 in the back plus 3 in the front?

tried ringing that one his phones always off anyone no of any others for sale

OK - then look for a Series 3 Stage 1 hardtop. They came with either a 3.5V8 or a 3.9L ISUZU diesel. 11-seat (or easily converted). No PAS or AC, but otherwise well built and well equipped. A V8 in good nick is 2-4k, a diesel maybe 3-6k

There were a small number of Hardtop (what you would call troopy style) landies sold in OZ from 1984-1998ish. Pre 1984 they were quite common but leaf sprung. A Series 3 stage 1 V8 may fit the bill - made from 1981-1983/4. Leaf sprung but the same drivetrain as a rangerover/110.

yeh i no id rather a landy over a cruiser but they seem harder to find in a troopy style with the sideways rear seats and yeh if the countrys are the 4door version im not keen im after a 2 door

i have seen a few military ones but there all soft tops and i would need the seats to be legal would that be much drama

Did the 2 door lwb landrovers (series 1,2,or 3) come with sidways bench seats like the toyota troopies? i cant find any if not then ill have to get a cruiser

so can a coily body bolt straight up to a wt chassis im thinking of doing it

Lwb suzuki sierra flexiglass challenge 2 peice canopy in very good nick except back glass window is cracked still usable and struts still work good

lol at the end of the day its still gonna have bulk power and be sick as so who cares but i reckon an auto would be alot better for the drivelines sake there alot smoother and has contant load when underpower

i got a rusty 1litre 83 model lwb with later model nt diffs (disk brakes) also had a blown head gasket and lots more work for 200 bucks i guess the older model ones are worth less but

also has any one got pics of one set up for camping i wonder if they are long enough to put a mattress in

i had a sierra 1litre with a 5speed not sure wat it was out of as it come with it but i reckon they are better with the 5speed it would help with cruising at 100

get longer shackles and it should be perfect

u can see that the alloy roll bar will just push over next time im going steel with the brace (diagonal bar in the middle) to stop it pushing over like that i i reckon the car would have looked similar if it didnt have the weak alloy ...

with open diffs in sand its pretty annoying when 1 front and 1 back wheel dig right down and you get stuck when the other 2 do nothing

yeh i reckon hour meter would be a good idea but still nearly 400000 on a sierra 1.3 seems unbelievable it must be on its last legs mine went a 230 and my bros coily went a 99 thousand

got lockrights front and back in my sierra they are very good yeh the click and shit around corners but i still highly recomend them also i have gave mine a hard time havent broke yet.....

also me and my brother put them in just guessed the backlash etc and it worked out fine so i dont no how these ...
