A jimny box will go into a sierra ,to get the gearstick in the same position you will need to swap the shift selectors and rear housing from a sierra 5 speed, with a little bit of machining to the rear housing which can be done with a die grinder

If it is an airlocker out of a GQ with the 233 diff it will fit it just needs the thrust block removed out of the centre of the locker

I am putting a new clutch into my turbo 4.2 is it worth lightening the flywheel if so how much is safe to remove

what I wrote earlier is not entirely correct , an airlocker out of a disc rear end won't fit because of the cross shaft but the disc lsd is hollow so the axle length will not be a problem , my drum rear which I just removed is lsd, both rears that I have are 11 bolts and the gasket is the same front ...

Lsd out of a disc brake rear won't fit ,on the drum brake rear the axles touch in the centre which I think is to preload the wheel bearings the drum rears only have a single bearing on each axle

Had someone look at it yesterday says it is repairable, we will weld and plate it and see how we go

Just discovered that the chassis is cracked, is it worth welding up or will it crack again,not real keen on changing it

Not sure of the gearbox or who did the conversion mod plate says owner but that wasn't the person I bought it off, not too bad a job just sorting out the wiring and a few other little things when they did the conversion they used the complete donor harness rather than splitting it and getting rid of ...

Recently bought a hardtop with a 4AGE 20V and have to disagree with the comments about the 20V, awsome power up high but it has still got good power down low, nice and light and a fairly simple install worth considering

Just bought a coil sprung sierra and have a few questions Is a gear driven transfer case a bolt in swap What is the difference between the front diff and the leaf sprung diffs can I swap centres or do I have to change the whole thing to run an airlocker What is available as far as suspension to get ...
