What is actually adjusted on a turbo diesel dyno tune ???

Hi all,

Simple question, as the title says.. I am in the process of fitting a turbo to a TD42 and want to know what is actually done when it is dyno tuned??

This question not only applies to mine but all t/d setups..

I thought only boost and fuel, what else is there??

Cheers,

All good got it sorted today.. Had an interesting result when I undid the plug, radiator fluid everywhere.. Now before you say it, I did drain the system as best I could from radiator hoses but it still dumped a fair bit from the block..

O well its all fun :D

Well my very first thought when I was deciding on turbo's was the disco with the 0.64 trim.. My only concern was choking the engine at higher rpm, but since I dont rev the guts out of my car I don't think this will be a problem.. I will be running stock pump, and most likely TMIC, though this will ...
