hello people..hope someone can help me with this...i have a 80 series constant 4wd model and was wondering if i could simply remove front propeller/drive shaft to hopefully improve fuel consumption. has anyone tried this or know if it is possible?

just to let u know my opinion...i owned a 2lt surf for a few years. too many old components on them. i would steer clear of them. alot of them have had their odomentres wound back and it is true they are hard to work on.( mostly becuase theres limited room in engine bay.) not saying all limoprts are...
