if i use aluminium for the tray, should I use 3mm checker plate or 1.6mm steel?

I assume then even if I use stainless pop rivets, the metals will not be electrically insulated and there would be corrosion.

Can anyone please identify this bullbar? Its a commodore

Bought this bullbar for a 95 2x4 Rodeo dual cab (that is what I was told it was off), but it does not fit. Anyone have any ideas what car it is for. Measurements are 675mm inside to side of the mounting plates and the distance between the holes is 120mm. Bar is about 1700mm wide. cheers http://i168 ...
