Dan just told me 1/3 of bump travel is the max height you can lift. He said he hasnt found out if that includeds shocks etc or if it from the shortest distance ie if u measure a patrol there is more travel in the rear..there for the bump reading is different to the front. how about 2" body lift..they are easy on patrols!....if you are interested i have a couple of sets of 4" raised coils...about 2 months old, sell em for $150 for the 4

can you weld??????????if you can chop the ass clean off the back of our tray and shorten your chassis about 150 -200mm it looks fat and your departure angle is heeps better

when you pull the gear stick boot off pull it in to low4 it only just touchs the body,mine did but it is a 91 gq cab on a 89wagon chassis,they shouldm't be much diffrents i don't think.....i just trimed it out with tin snips

you will have to play abit with your 4wd gear stick,it will hit the body when you put it in 4 low.other than that what B.J said is about it...have fun............and your radiator, the bottom of the shroud should clip off...if you forget you will work it out when you start it up...not a good sound...

ill ask dan, he keeps extended shafts in stock and sells em fairly cheap...they arnt cut n shut jobs so no weld to crack..mig na TIG is the go!

good old trols

I love my old pig...the ute is a coil cab early 90s model, hybrid turbo stainless exhaust, all arms are changed & coils are custom four torque ones, mearly 7" lift, simex peeds, cut tray...they are so easy to work on...when im driving on the road i just drop the height and run legal tyres going off ...
