Tyre size

It was said that there is a tyre limit of 37" is this a maximum or a minimum size, as our truck has run in previous woodpecker events with a 42" tyre.

This will be the deciding factor if we can enter as we cant afford another set of tyres.

Thanks crazy eyes i changed the direction of the wire today on the spool and the brake holds perfectly. You saved me a heap of time in pulling the winch apart to find nothing wrong with it, thanks again.

I wasnt aware that the direction that the cable is wound on the spool would make a difference. I will try this tommorow. Cheers!

warn winch wont lock up

I have a warn m8000 winch and i am mainly using it to winch the front of the car down to the diff. As soon as i stop winching in, it slowly backs itself off as it is under load. There doesnt seem to be any locking mechanism.

Has anyone had this problem before.
