Re: Air locker difficult to disengage
Do you get the normal sound when you dis-engage it??
My front arb seemed to be hanging on a bit? When I decided to look into it, I pulled the solinoid off as a starting point.
Long story short, Damn mud wasps had clogged up the exit air port so it failed to dis-engage in the normal way!

Re: GQ Front shaft angles after lift
I had the same issue after lifting my 89 GQ a few years ago.
after many attempts to remedy it I was finally advised to source a front tailshaft from a leaf sprung GQ ute (Same Vintage)
I got it shortened to match and all good.
These have a double uni set up!

I'll bite
use whatever you need to drive it in to achieve what you want. It will change often as conditions change.
once your in very soft sand you will predominently need low range.
adjusted Tyre pressures are critical in soft sand.

Hey guys,
I just got a Turbo/Gas TD42 and have a question in regards to a cold startup and oil pressure.
When she is cold, you can really hear the tappets/valve assembly rattling about. After a couple of kilometers the noise dies down and she sounds perfect.
Oil level is fine.

Hi all,
Would someone be able to tell if a ZD30 Airbox lid will fit on a RD28 Airbox base?
Also I have a RD28 Airbox and want to use a ZD30 lid on it what filter do I use in it.
Thanks in advance
David
All lids are interchangeable, and they all take the same filter

Re: gq brakes
would you need a mod plate in QLD upgrading to a dual pot caliper?
Any guidelines on what to pay for 2 calipers from a wrecker?
Seeing how you are putting another factory caliper on, I don't think it would require a mod plate ;) YMMV
