Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Ive done a lot of Pricing and as we know 2.8 and even 3.0 are getting cheaper all the time. The questions are! Do they really stuff up around 120,000ks plus like the rumour go's? Or are they going 300,000 easy like the old GQ 4.2? And if so or if not, could then throw a 4.2td or even a Chev V8 ...

2.8 has car gearbox and not the same at the 3.0TD and 4.2's


you wont get 300,000km from a 3.0

on patrol list, someone got 255,000 and when stripped down it is knackered, bores are too worn and requires a new block type worn. oil changes at 5000kms

You will have to change the engine mounts and also the complete Gear box. There will also be lots of little stuff to sort out as well. Alternativly you can buy a 2002 3.0 with 10900km's on it of me.
