I have it listed on Ebay for $2000 and it does come with the pump. LudaCris zd30 and TD42 run the ...

Re: Hilux snorkels
I have heard from several people that due to the new Diesel hilux motor being electronic and computer controlled, that fitting a snorkel actually decreases fuel economy due to the ram factor. As the air is forced into the intake (due to the snorkel intake facing forwards) it changes the pressure in ...

Article (well, the car guru answering a question - not rely an "article" as such) in today's Sunday Mail. He said that the problem was sourced to inadequate oil delivery, and the problem was magnified on long drives as the oil didn't have sufficient time to cool. So in short, he believed that the ...

One of our customers had one hole a piston, 1999 model 10 months out of warranty. Nissan fixed it for nothing ( they said a motor alone is $12,500), but he had to kick and scream about it. The thing is, all the ones that i have heard about blew up after a big long trip down along the highway ( his ...

Re: what oil used on D4D Luxi
G'day all, I work for Toyota Company Fleet in Altona, Melbourne and I can tell you that we use the same oil for all the cars, no matter whether they are diesel or petrol. It's a Castrol brand, not quite sure of the viscocity but I can try and find out. We get Technical Services coming in and out ...
