if you do go to an engine fan make sure you have plenty of clearance, as a 253 will move alot under drive, i put my engine fan through the radiator on my old hilux, it only had 1 to 2 cm cleanance...NO GOOD.... i put two thermos on the same as you have, over the inlet and outlet of the rad.. this ...

its an 89 mod, petrol engine, dual batts, winch, 33s, 2 inch lift, looks to be in good nick, engine had rebuild at 325k, now at bout 410k, he wants 4500 with reg and rwc. wat are these like on fuel? take well to gas? going to have a look thurs night... any info appreciated... also how do they take ...

no worries, the one i dorve yesterday went pretty good i thought, but it has a three inch exhaust, maybe that helps.. and only running 32s on it so that would make it better wouldn it...
500ks to a tank isnt too bad...

its a 98 mod, 3L diesel, single cab white, 31" bfg all terrains, 180 k on the clock, good overall condition... no dings or anything... he wants around 10 grand... any ideas on how that sounds? also wat sort of economy do these get? 10/11 L per 100 km or wat bit reluctant to buy a diesel with fuel ...

ok heres the go.... i have a white mq with a half decent body, but a smokey engine and buggered front diff.... i also have a red mq with good engine and drive line, but the body is cactus it s been rolled over.... how hard to swap the body over? just unbolt body and lift whilst taking care to undo ...

any one got any ideas?

hey finally got me L28 runnin, but it will only run for bout 1-2 mins, then stalls as if no fuel? any ideas? carby? i need to have the choke out a bit to start it....
and spark plugs have some black shit on em... like carbon...
prob hasn been started for bout a year opr more

anyone got a diagram for a L28 engine ignition wiring diagram? is there just a fuseable link and a normal fuse or a relay included or wat?
currently rrebuiling a swb mq and trying to figure the wiring out...

ok thanks guys, i have been talking to the boys on ozdat and they reckon the heads from any L6 are interchangable..., so how hard do ya reckon it would be to wire up a fuel injection system.... engine comes with the loom and computer....
