Thanks all for the suggestions. I have currently adjusted the lock stops so the tyres don't scrub but I don't have as much steering lock as I used to.

Maybe I will just have to get used to it, or go back to standard springs.

As for welding up the front diff... Sounds like it could be a bit ...
