Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Paddocks in the UK sell the plastic Flexi Flares......very different to the Australian made fibreglass flares. Probably will not be much cheaper though.

Response from Tim running Shane's 3inch flexi coils in his Disco.

Sitting on flat ground, from bottam spring plate to top spring mount in the rear is 420mm
And front 340mm

The suspension is pretty much new so has not really settled so may drop a touch.

I have also sent young Tim a message to messure his. He is running Shane's 3inch flexy coils in a TDi which apparently sits at about 4inches. I will post up his response.

I was told that the 3 and 4 bolts have different gearing too? So different complete turns lock to lock. May be relevent to some condsidering the different options.

Good news that you are starting to track it down ;) With a 2inch lift your castor should not be too bad, so unless your steering is a little off (vague in start of turn then twitchy) i would not bother. I have not had any personal experience with the correction bushes though, as i went slotted ...

The best option is to set your flares back as far as you can as the tyre moves back when it comes up. Then mod your existing bump stops. you can use a 50x 50 or 40 x 40 or 50x35 steel hollow section (around 6+mm works well) and just space the bump stop down.
