16 x 10 with 36 x 13 swampers have done, with some little tweaks to fender at rear of front, and moved diff forward 12mm by putting castor correction bushes in the rear of front arms. Also had 40mm bump spacers with 3"lift and 12"stroke shocks. 16 x 9 or 20mm more offset is ideal for 35"on a 105 ...

I'm guessing theres someone out there running with a 3" lift + 35's and has fitted up some offset rims?

I've had my front inner gaurds trimed up , one problem solved

So what the biggest offset in a 16 x 9" rim has anyone put on a 105 series

I will be changing back to 285's as sonn as my 315's wear out (it could take a while though) Starting of on a slight incline you need to ride the clutch to get going, uses about 3lt per 100 ks more fuel and the brakes are working harder to pull me up in a hurry. I had the same drama with my 105 ...

I bought an autron pillar gauge holder for my 79 series, it was ok but they arnt deep enough to hold the VDO boost gauges and pyrometer, so unless your mounting just electrical sensor water/oil temp they wont fit. Chris, the guy who is doing thios swap has done a couple of 1HDFTE's into 105's. The ute motor and puter is the way to go as they dont use the chipped key and you dont need to swap the dash over.
